Guidelines for 501(C)(3) Arts & Cultural Organizations

Eligibility Requirements:
- Applicants must have been in business and operating for two years before applying
- Applicants must be active 501(C)(3) organizations with IRS form 990 on file
- Organizations must be actively engaged in year-round arts and cultural programming in Gwinnett County
Eligible Expenses:
- This reimbursement grant is limited to: Rent, Utilities, and Venue Rentals
- Eligible expenses must have been incurred and paid in 2024
- Expenses that have already received funding are ineligible
Award Amount:
- Budgets $1 million-$2 million, maximum award $15,000
- Budgets $500,000-$999,000, maximum award $7,500
- Budgets $101,000-$499,000, maximum award $5,000
- Budgets under $100,000, maximum award $2,500
*Please note, applicants should submit for the maximum award offered per category. However, full funding may not be available dependent on number of applications.

REQUIRED ATTACHMENTS:

IRS Exempt Determination Letter indicating 501(C)(3) status
IRS Form W-9
Rental Lease (Leasee must be the Organization applying; Countersigned current document required). Venue rental can be administrative offices as well as event venue rental. (Rent and Utilities cannot be applied for work from home spaces.)
Utility Bill(s)
Receipt of Payment(s)
Proof of Payment (bank statements required)
